Cafe Istanbul at The Shops at Legacy

Mmmmmmmmm. Just enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at Cafe Istanbul with my adorable mama and we thought they deserved a shoutout;) Their patio is cozy and cushy and the couches and intimate seating arrangements beckoned us to plop right down and soak up the sun:) So we did!

We started with some delish hummus and fluffy bread....

(and yes, some vino;) Those grape leaf wraps were interesting and quite tasty too. They are served cold though which may catch you off guard, but get over it and dig in because they are great;)
Then our lamb salad came out and we were happy we decided to split it because dannnnng, it was enormous!

Isn't that beautiful! I love lamb and this gyro style meat was lamb and beef pressed together, it was savory and light all at the same time. Corn, radish, carrot, cucumber.....yum yum!
After all that eating we still had a ton of shopping around to do, mostly window shopping, but I needed a boost so I went for the espresso-like coffee drink...
Not only was the cute little coffee mug and saucer charming as all get out, that espresso was like drinking hot chocolate! Thickkkkkk, boy it was thick. And surely did the trick! I was buzzing like a bumblebee;)

So ya! If you are exploring The Shops at Legacy, don't forget about this little gem, Cafe Istanbul, just across from Ra Sushi on Lonestar Drive;) With a Mediterranean menu and beautiful patio, you will feel transported and uplifted;) Don't pass on the VINO!
